The Journey
Hong Kong Volunteer Award (HKVA) was first launched in 2005 by the Agency for Volunteer Service. The Award is an epochal and territory-wide event not only to raise public awareness of the value of volunteering, but also to facilitate the development of sustainable volunteerism in Hong Kong.
In 2022, a brand-new scheme Hong Kong Volunteer Award (HKV-Award) co-organized by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Agency for Volunteer Service launched with the aims to motivate more young people to participate in volunteering and to build a caring and inclusive society.
