The Hong Kong Volunteer Award is made possible with the funding support of:
Outstanding Volunteer/ Group Award and Outstanding Youth Volunteer/ Group Award
Outstanding Youth Volunteer/ Group Award

The award recognizes youth volunteers' contributions to volunteering, and pays tribute to youth volunteers' outstanding performance and achievements in promoting volunteering through their personal expertise/ professional knowledge and skills. It aims to enhance public awareness and social recognition and establish an exemplary volunteering model for the community to participate in youth volunteer services.


Eligibility:

  1. On an individual or volunteer group basis
  2. Candidates MUST possess a valid HKSAR identity card, or special approval from the HKSAR government to carry out volunteering activities in Hong Kong (Non-permanent residents of HKSAR shall check with the Immigration Department for their eligibility to carry out volunteering activities and if applicable, obtain the necessary permit)
  3. A volunteer group MUST comprise at least three members, list of the volunteer group members MUST be submitted
  4. Youth volunteers MUST be 30 years old or below (born on 31 December 1992 or after). All core members of the youth volunteer group should be 30 years old or below (born on 31 December 1992 or after), and the percentage of youth members should be over half of group members
  5. Have a track record of continuous and active participation in volunteering and promoting volunteerism in Hong Kong, across the border or overseas. All service records for the period 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 MUST be endorsed by a recognized local organization; and nominated by an individual or organization
