Corporate & Non-Commercial Organization Award(Volunteer Hour)Registered commercial or non-profit organizations, including: government departments, statutory bodies, chambers of commerce, professional bodies or uniformed groups, and the volunteer team of the above-mentioned organizations.


  • Group A: Corporate with *1,000 or above full-time employees 
  • Group B: Corporate with *101-999 full-time employees
  • Group C: Corporate with less than *100 full-time employees
  • Group D: Public corporations

Existing AVS's Hong Kong Community Volunteers Corporate Member/Registered Organization: Free of charge

Non-member: Corporate: HKD 1,000 / Public corporation: HKD 500
Individual Award(Volunteer Hour)
  1. Candidates MUST possess a valid HKSAR identity card, or special approval from the HKSAR government to carry out volunteering activities in Hong Kong (Non-permanent residents of HKSAR shall check with the Immigration Department for their eligibility to carry out volunteering activities and if applicable, obtain the necessary permit)
  2. Have a track record of continuous and active participation in volunteering and promoting volunteerism in Hong Kong, across the border or overseas. All service records for the period 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 MUST be endorsed and submitted by a recognized local organization: Registered commercial or non-profit organizations, including: government departments, statutory bodies, chambers of commerce, professional bodies or uniformed groups

  • Adult Group: (Age of 31 or above)
  • Youth Group: (Age of 30 or below)

JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER Evergreen Volunteer Award (Volunteer Hour)
  1. Candidates MUST possess a valid HKSAR identity card, or special approval from the HKSAR government to carry out volunteering activities in Hong Kong (Non-permanent residents of HKSAR shall check with the Immigration Department for their eligibility to carry out volunteering activities and if applicable, obtain the necessary permit)
  2. Have a track record of continuous and active participation in volunteering and promoting volunteerism in Hong Kong, across the border or overseas. All service records for the period 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 MUST be endorsed and submitted by a recognized local organization
  3. Evergreen Volunteer means individual volunteers aged 50 or above (born on 31st December 1972 or before) recognized by: Registered commercial or non-profit organizations, including: government departments, statutory bodies, chambers of commerce, professional bodies or uniformed groups.
JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER New Star Volunteer Award (Volunteer Hour)
  1. Candidates MUST possess a valid HKSAR identity card, or special approval from the HKSAR government to carry out volunteering activities in Hong Kong (Non-permanent residents of HKSAR shall check with the Immigration Department for their eligibility to carry out volunteering activities and if applicable, obtain the necessary permit)
  2. Have a track record of continuous and active participation in volunteering and promoting volunteerism in Hong Kong, across the border or overseas. All service records for the period 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 MUST be endorsed and submitted by a recognized local organization
  3. New Star Volunteer means individual volunteers with first-time volunteer experience from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 recognized by the following organizations: Registered commercial or non-profit organizations, including: government departments, statutory bodies, chambers of commerce, professional bodies or uniformed groups.

All service records for the period 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 MUST be endorsed by a recognized local non-profit organization; and nominated by an individual or organization

Outstanding Youth Volunteer/ Group Award
  1. On an individual or volunteer group basis
  2. Candidates MUST possess a valid HKSAR identity card, or special approval from the HKSAR government to carry out volunteering activities in Hong Kong (Non-permanent residents of HKSAR shall check with the Immigration Department for their eligibility to carry out volunteering activities and if applicable, obtain the necessary permit)
  3. A volunteer group MUST comprise at least three members, list of the volunteer group members MUST be submitted
  4. Youth volunteers MUST be 30 years old or below (born on 31 December 1992 or after). All core members of the youth volunteer group should be 30 years old or below (born on 31 December 1992 or after), and the percentage of youth members should be over half of group members
  5. Have a track record of continuous and active participation in volunteering and promoting volunteerism in Hong Kong, across the border or overseas. All service records for the period 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 MUST be endorsed by a recognized local non-profit organization; and nominated by an individual or organization
JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER Outstanding Evergreen Volunteer Award
  1. Outstanding Collaboration Project Award
  1. Project involving the partnership between at least 2 *independent organizations
  2. The project was in operation from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022, service records MUST be endorsed by a recognized local organization
  3. Be self-nominated by one of the partnering organizations
Outstanding Youth Volunteer Project Award
  1. The Youth volunteer project MUST be initiated and implemented by youth (born on 31 December 1992 or after). For group/organization projects, core member(s) of the group/organization MUST be youth, and youth participants MUST be over 50% of the total number of group/organization members
  2. The project was implemented during the period 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022, service records MUST be endorsed by a recognized local organization
  3. Can be self-nominated or be nominated by a beneficiary organization
