Seven new awards under the categories of Volunteer Hour Awards and Outstanding Awards were introduced in the HKV-Award 2023 to recognize dedicated volunteers across sectors and ages, namely, the Outstanding Youth Volunteer Project Award and upon the support of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust: the JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER Outstanding Evergreen Volunteer Award,  the JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER Outstanding New Star Volunteer Award, the JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER Outstanding Caring School Award, the JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER Evergreen Volunteer Award (Volunteer Hours), the JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER New Star Volunteer Award (Volunteer Hours) and the JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER Caring School. The HKV-Award aims to inspire more people, particularly young people, people aged 50 or above, and first-time volunteers, to participate in volunteering and to unite the power of the community in building a caring and inclusive society.
